Colorado officials to use $5,000 to train 3,000 more fishermen to track unclaimed cargo
The Colorado Department of Transportation is considering expanding the training of fishers who use unclaimed shipments as cargo to 3,200 fishers, a department spokeswoman said.
The new training would increase the number of fisher training opportunities and expand the number to 3.3 million people, she said.
In the last four years, the department has trained 1,500 fishers.
She said it would be difficult to increase the total number of opportunities by the end of 2020.
