The ‘Cargo’ Arrives: A Cargo Trailer Goes Off The Rails in Florida
The Cargo Trailer goes off the rails at the Port of Orlando, and a new trailer with a cargo bed is headed to the dock in St. Petersburg.
The truck was being driven to the Florida Keys to load the cargo of a truck that was being hauled in by the port, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The trailer is owned by Bayliner International, and the Port has said it is investigating the accident.
Bayliner International President John Sorensen said in a statement that the company is “aware of the accident” and will provide “more information as it becomes available.”
Sorenser said the company’s employees are “evaluating all possible solutions to assist with this accident.”
The truck has a cargo capacity of 3,000 gallons.
The port says the trailer has no mechanical problems and that it will be inspected for damage.
The Port of St. Pete said it was not aware of any injuries.
